TRUST AUDIT
SAMPLE REPORT
I built this tool, so I ran it on myself first. Here is what it caught on a recent call.
I teach this for a living and the audit still caught me. Every finding comes with a verbatim quote from your own call. No quote, no finding. That’s the standard.
WIN THE QUESTION · TRUST AUDIT
Scott’s Audit Results
27 minutes · Client identity conversation · August 2026
YOUR NUMBERS
Airtime: roughly 55 to 60% you, estimated as share of words on a call that existed to talk about their career. Worth watching. Questions: 4 real, 3 setups. Real questions win, but narrowly.
ONE PATTERN TO WATCH
When they shared something personal, it became a doorway into your parallel story within one turn. About one minute in, they told you about a new relationship. Your response: “I didn’t know if you did or you didn’t, but I did that five years ago after swearing I would never do it again.”
SKILL: LISTEN TO LEARN
Listen to understand, not to reply. The trap: hearing their story as an invitation to tell yours.
TRY THIS ON YOUR NEXT CALL
When someone shares news, ask one more question about it before offering your own parallel story. Hardest when their news mirrors your life, because that is exactly when “me too” feels like connection.
GET THE KIT
Three files, no software. You run the audit in the AI assistant you already use. Claude and ChatGPT both work.
You’ll get one email with the kit, and the occasional field note from Scott. Unsubscribe anytime.
HOW IT WORKS
Export a transcript of one real conversation. Zoom, Teams, Otter, and Google Meet all do this.
Start a new chat with your AI assistant and attach the two kit files plus your transcript.
Paste the audit prompt from the Read Me. The report comes back in under a minute.
PRIVACY BAND
The audit runs entirely inside your Claude or ChatGPT account, under that provider’s privacy and data policies. Win The Question receives nothing. For professionals whose conversations are confidential, that’s not a limitation. It’s the design.

AFTER THREE CALLS
Run the audit on three or more conversations and the kit has a second read: the pattern across patterns, the one behavior that keeps showing up no matter who you’re talking to. The multi-call prompt is in the Read Me. That recurring pattern is the thing worth working on, and it’s exactly what smart professionals miss about themselves. We lose trust by trying to look smart, and we are the last to hear it happen. The audit measures the behaviors that make a conversation about you, because everything you bring gets divided by how much of the conversation is about you. Self-orientation is the denominator almost nobody works on.
PROOF
“I asked my Claude to include it in both my pre-meeting prep notes and my post-meeting transcript analysis going forward.”

SMALL PRINT
Does it cost anything?
No. The kit is free. You run it in your own AI account.
Which AI do I need?
Claude and ChatGPT both work. Use the AI assistant you already have.
Will it flatter me?
No. Every finding needs a verbatim quote from your call. No quote, no finding.
CLOSE
The audit finds the pattern. Changing it is practice, and practice goes faster with a coach. If you’ve run the audit on a few calls and the same behavior keeps appearing, that’s a useful conversation to have. Reach me at scott@winthequestion.com, or start further back and take the Trust Quiz.
